Who We Are

Hey! We’re Detoure - America's First Influencer Sourced Thrift Store! We’re on a mission to create the world’s most curated, stylish, and affordable secondhand store by working with top influencers to sell their closets. We know that every year in the US 14 million tons of clothing ends up in landfills, and we want to do our part to reduce that!

What We’re Looking For

After running our viral pop-up shops in Los Angeles, we are now launching them in NYC! Detoure’s NYC Events’ Coordinator will work directly with the CEO in Los Angeles to facilitate the expansion of the brand’s influencer clothing pop-up operations to NYC. This is a hands-on hybrid position that will require both remote meetings with the LA team and in-person coordinating with Detoure’s New York influencer network ahead of every pop up.

Responsibilities

⁃Organize and oversee all events-related tasks on the ground in NYC

⁃Coordinate and carry out clothing pick-ups for 30+ influencers

⁃Price and tag all influencer clothing ahead of each pop up

⁃Build team of freelance employees to assist with any and all day-of pop up operations

⁃Manage pop up employees and serve as the main on-site point of contact for any potential problems that may arise

⁃Establish professional, consistent communication with New York City influencers

Requirements

⁃Experience in coordinating and running events

⁃Ability to transport bags full of clothing around NYC and into our storage unit in Hoboken, NJ

⁃Available 10+ hrs/week

⁃Ability to take initiative and think on your feet

⁃Capacity to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

⁃Passionate about fashion and sustainabilty. And excited to work for an up and coming startup!
