Job Description

Are you an expert at planning events? Do you love managing all the details when hosting? Do you have experience working with venues and vendors? If so, we have the job for you! PEG’s client is seeking an Events Coordinator for a long-term 1-year contract with a company based in St. Louis, MO. This role is a remote position and involves traveling to 10-15 events during the contract. Candidate would ideally be based in St. Louis, MO. What You will Do:

  • Work with stakeholders to develop event presentation and coordinate with creative team- a lot of collaboration here!
  • As an Events Coordinator you will manage presenter coordination, including scheduling and communicating on any event & audio-visual needs.
  • Use the Event Management System to create event collection, build event reports and manage registration and attendance data for tracking.
  • Coordinate any event shipping needs to event spaces.
  • Provide event documentation and agendas.
  • Develop event invitations, including writing copy, coordinating with creative team, and managing timeline for upcoming events.
  • Manage gift, swag, and award inventory for events.
  • Monitor Events inbox and respond as appropriate-communicating with all necessary parties.
  • Manage travel coordination for specific events.
  • On-site event management, including company sponsored travel to various locations throughout the US.
  • Create necessary surveys and forms for the event for tracking purposes.
  • Oversee event check-in, including name tags, guest lists and entering attendance data.
  • Work with venues and vendors on food & beverage, audiovisual set up and décor.


To Be Successful, it will Help If You Have:

  • 2+ years of event planning and execution, including high-level event planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communications and presentation skills- ability to collaborate with clients and vendors.
  • Take charge attitude – you know what needs done and make it happen.
  • Experience with virtual event software such as Webex, Zoom as well as Microsoft and Google Suite. Salesforce experience would be a bonus!
  • College degree a plus.
  • Preference for Greater St. Louis area based candidate.
  • Demonstrated team skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and be on your feet for an extended time period during events for set up and breakdown.
  • Project management and administration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
