To maintain military readiness and reduce maintenance costs, the Department of Defense (DoD) is motivated to improve the sustainability of the weapons systems and platforms life cycle. This initiative is accomplished through reducing pollution and developing environmentally friendly alternative materials. The Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) and Environmental Security Technology Certification Program (ESTCP) are developing and demonstrating the science, tools, and techniques needed to meet critical defense performance criteria while also reducing the impact on the environment and protecting the health of DoD workers and military personnel. We seek an Environmental Specialist to join our team of talented professionals who successfully support the strategic goals of SERDP and ESTCP.
