Environmental Project Developer Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and engage with external partners, including government agencies, NGOs, community organizations, and technical experts to leverage expertise and secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop project plans, establish milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential negative impacts, while maximizing positive environmental outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of environmental project feasibility, considering factors such as environmental impact, resource availability, regulatory compliance, and community engagement.
• Identify and evaluate potential environmental project opportunities, conducting research and analysis to inform decision-making and project selection.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetary constraints.
• Stay updated on emerging environmental trends, regulations, and technologies to identify innovative approaches and incorporate them into project development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Professional certifications in environmental management or project management are a plus.
• Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change through project development.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Excellent analytical skills, capable of conducting feasibility studies, assessing environmental impacts, and evaluating project viability.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting processes, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to track project progress and prepare informative reports.
• Proven experience in developing and managing environmental projects, preferably in areas such as Afforestation/Reforestation, waste management, conservation, or climate change mitigation.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make sound decisions to overcome project challenges.
