Job Highlights
- Evaluate needed RCRA and DOT training
- Develop commercial agreements with Procurement
- Manage hazardous waste handling, storage and transport requirements and reporting
- Responsible for waste characterization, profiling and investigations for 3 chemical plant sites
- Interpret waste rules and ensure compliance
- Waste minimization project development
Requirements
- 5-10 years of waste management experience
- Must be able to work in the field as needed with exposure to outdoor elements and chemical plant operations; must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- CHMM certification strongly preferred
- Experience operating a waste program in an ISO 14001 environment strongly preferred
- Knowledge of RCRA requirements are a must
