As a entry level designer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsibility for work performed on smaller projects or specific aspects of larger projects under the direction of a licensed architect
• Accountability for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assigned
• Supporting Project Designer/Project Manager developing design concepts and solutions
• Utilizing appropriate communication techniques for positive collaboration
• Responsibility for design refinement of specific aspects of project
• Coordinating design details with production team; participating in document production, specifications and construction contract administration as assigned
• Developing technical solutions in support of design intent under the direction of a licensed architect

Qualifications

• LEED Accreditation is not required but desired
• Effective verbal and written communication and presentation techniques
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
• Time efficient self-starter; enjoys fast paced project work
• Proactive listener
• 0-3 years post graduate experience in similar position at a design firm
• Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
• Authorized to work legally in the United States without restrictions
• Positive attitude, dependability and willingness to work and grow in team environment

Basic understanding of:

• Design solution development
• Differing building types and project delivery methods
• Programming and planning methods
• Building systems, detailing and technology
• Applicable codes, regulations, and standards
