Job Description

Role: Industrial Designer

Job Type: Freelance

Rate: $60/hr. - $75/hr.

Start Date: Interviewing now

Our agency client is in need of an Industrial Designer to assist their team!


Top responsibilities for the Industrial Designer include:

  • CPG POS design, development, and production
  • Navigate next steps based on starting ideas/sketches
  • Ideation, sketching, and mocking up concepts
  • Work collaboratively with product + design teams
  • Provide additional support in the rendering & product engineering space


The ideal Industrial Designer has:

  • Proficient knowledge of manufacturing processes for metals, composites, plastics and more including machining, forging, molding for composites, injection molding, 3D printing, etc.
  • Proficiency with 2D & 3D rendering software to quickly create concept renderings and photo realistic imagery (KeyShot, Rhino, Photoshop)
  • Strong ideation and sketching skills with the ability to quickly mock-up concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of 3D CAD software (Solid Works and AutoCAD), with manufacturing related technologies a plus
