A DAY IN THE LIFE OF DESIGN SALES REPRESENTATIVE In this landscape designer position, you collaborate directly with homeowners on their vision. This calls for attention to detail to ensure everything is followed through according to the client's vision. You actively listen to needs and can provide them with recommendations to maximize the usability of their outdoor living space. Strong communication skills result in client satisfaction. You deliver the estimate with any concerns or questions handled accordingly. You finalize the landscaping plan to move forward with construction. You use your landscape construction knowledge after the homeowner approves your estimate and plan. This position demands full effort from start to finish. You use materials and tools to construct the outdoor space into a beautiful sight from the work that you created. DESIGN SALES REPRESENTATIVE QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of landscaping design experience Provide portfolio Cad/Hand Sketch Designs. Completed job photos a plus Some sales experience is a plus. We will train the right person to be a high percentage closer Ability to understand customer needs and create a realistic budget Knowledge of local plants, space planning, and construction techniques Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (good hand sketching skills ok) Commute to our main office in Sun Valley or work virtually from home and meet potential customers daily Construction knowledge is a plus
