Job duties and requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), and Microsoft Office

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the profession

Supporting Project Designer/Project Manager developing design concepts and solutions

0-3 years post graduate experience in similar position at a design firm

As a entry level designer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Utilizing appropriate communication techniques for positive collaboration

Accountability for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assigned

Coordinating design details with production team; participating in document production, specifications and construction contract administration as assigned

We meet with customers, Project Managers and Systems Engineers to understand the objectives and requirements of the job.

Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Mechanical & Electrical schematics preferred.

AutoCAD experience – up to 6months to 1year exposure to key board skills.

Good relationship building skills; ability to interpret customer requirements.

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field preferred, or relevant work experience.

Manage project schedules and specifications;

1-3 years of professional experience in an architecture/interior design firm;

Professional architecture or interior design degree (or commensurate experience) is preferred;

Construction documents experience is preferred;

Experience in Vectorworks is a plus (not required);

Experience with Lumion is a plus (not required);

Increase knowledge and competency of AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office suite.

Learn the design process including check set requirements, drafting standards, and properly show devices by space (60% -75% layout)

Learn what governs our design including codes (NEC, IESNA, IECC) and requirements (owner, city, architectural)

Communicate questions to team members, team leader, project manager, and client.

Associates of Applied Science in Engineering Design Technology, Certificate of Proficiency in Computer-Aided Drafting, or equivalent education preferred but not required.

1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. School experience may be substituted for work experience
