Job Title:‘Enrollment Coordinator’
Location:REMOTE : Working Offsite from anywhere in US
Duration:08+ Months Contract with Possible Extension
Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Eastern); after training flexibility with schedule
Description
·The Enrollment Coordinators play a critical role in working with our new member clients to determine eligibility and perform various enrollment activities.
·Enrollment Coordinators interface with both individual plan members and employer group and requires a strong focus around accurate and timely customer support to ensure client enrollment and retention.
·The Enrollment Coordinator II reports directly to the Enrollment Supervisor.
Duties
·Processing enrollment of Medicare members including first-time enrollment and member modifications
·Manage work activities in your work queue (i.e., enrollment missing information, enrollment with effective date change)
·Interface with other system applications for research and, where applicable, updating them with actions/outcomes of enrollment activity
·May also support on one or more of the following enrollment support functions
·Update Excel spreadsheets to track workflow of various special assigned projects.
·Outbound Enrollment Verification member calls
·Answer incoming agent/broker calls regarding special needs (low income) enrollment plans.
·Post Enrollment functions such as determining member paid penalties.
·Meet monthly established quality and productivity goals on a consistent basis.
·Follow work instructions regarding enrollment tasks.
Experience
- Enrollment processes or previous work experience in regulatory environment
- Understanding of Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines for Medicare Part D and C
- Microsoft Office applications
- Basic to intermediate skills in MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook are a plus; ability to create and update Excel spreadsheets.
- Understanding of basic healthcare terminology and definitions, such as HIPAA
Position Summary
- Interfacing with both individual plan members and employer groups, the position will work in accordance with the Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance takes place.
- This position requires a strong focus around accurate and timely customer support to ensure member enrollment and retention.
- This position will partner cross-functionally with various operational business units while supporting departmental objectives within company and regulatory guidelines.
- Contingent workforce plays a critical role in working with our new and existing Medicare member clients to determine eligibility and perform various enrollment activities.
Education
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED required.
