Engineering Technician - Cellular

• Ability to travel domestically & internationally.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge and experience in one or more programming language Swift, Python, C++, Java and C is a plus.
• Hands-on experience using lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, and/or signaling call box.
• Practical knowledge of wireless test verification and validation test equipment and systems including building blocks, RF systems characteristics of building blocks, test system design, implementation and commissioning.
• Experience with wireless system design verification / validation working with firmware / software engineers to enable such verifications.
• Experience working on wireless system (cellular) integration, development and validation processes.

You will be involved in planning, developing, implementing testing setups and procedures in support of ensuring cellular parametric and emissions performance during product development. Examples of activities you may be involved in are: - Design, develop, and implement procedures for testing and evaluation of products during product development to meet Apple standards. - Planning and tracking status and preparedness for cellular validation testing to ensure performance covering a wide range of test cases on cellular technologies at both conducted and radiated levels. - Defining Test methodologies, developing test sequence, validating firmware / software feature preparedness for characterizing cellular test cases. - Identify test related readiness, issues and optimizations during product development cycle. - Collaborating closely at different lab sites (3rd party labs, CM and apple labs) to ensure setup correlations and planned test completion. - Work closely with Wireless System Engineer or System Validation Engineer to debug and root cause issues. - Own the optimization and improvement of test methodologies to enhance operational efficiency in NPI characterization. - Make recommendations for changes required in testing procedures and methodologies, manufacturing processes, and/or new testing requirements.

Bachelor’s and 3+ years of experience preferred.

The base pay range for this role is between $42.84 and $76.15/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
