Engineering Technician Jobs

• Position is largely sedentary o Repetitious hand and finger dexterity to communicate via email and cellphone
• Create PSV and control valve data sheets, populate all non-calculation data, Generate PDFs o Create cause & effect matrix, populate the document excluding the actions and setpoints
• Manages individual time by building due dates into assignments and then prioritizes work to accomplish more in less time
• Incorporate design information into equipment title blocks o Participate in walk downs and confirm equipment aligns with P&IDs prior to shipment o Engineering Documents
• Create utility spreadsheets, line list, paint list, shipping list, spare parts list, etc.
• OMake certain Document Control receives correct design documents, IOMs, and vendor data books; Review Job Book before shipment
• Engineering BOMs o Create and maintain engineering BOMs o RFQ engineering BOMs
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Evaluate quotes and interface with engineers and buyers o P&IDs o Ensure all line numbers, cross sheet arrows, tagging, and scope/spec breaks are correct and consistent
• Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately, handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities o Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Exhibits professionalism by establishing effective relationships with other employees
• Extensive visual and auditory observation during work

RequirementsProficient in reading and developing P&IDs 1+ year of relevant Engineering Tech experience in the natural gas industry
