Job Description

Reporting to the Global Head of Performance Management, the Employee Performance Management Lead Analyst will function as a key member of the performance management team. The team is responsible for Citi’s employee performance management process conducted in Workday. This includes goal setting, mid-year and year-end evaluations and our ongoing feedback process.

The Employee Performance Management Lead Analyst will support the execution of Citi’s Risk and Control Assessment process, as well as other independent reviews that are a key part of the performance evaluation of high risk takers at Citi. Furthermore, this role will also collaborate with other team members to establish quality assurance tools to improve manager evaluation commentary and provide project management support to the Global Head of Performance Management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributes to the creation of employee and manager resources related to performance management processes
  • Produces education materials to support Reviewers, HR and Managers understand their role in Citi's independent reviews
  • Contributes to artifact collection and testing meetings for any Audit Performance Management is subject to
  • Collaborates with key team members to build and deploy quality assurance tools around commentary validation
  • Partners with leads from each of Citi’s control functions to execute all in scope independent reviews for high risk takers at Citi
  • Conducts limited user experience testing of Workday and vendor system functionality, ensuring business requirements have been successfully implemented
  • Develops deep subject matter expertise in Workday’s business processes related to goal setting, performance evaluations and feedback

Qualifications:

  • Well-developed communication and diplomacy skills and an ability to persuade and influence others and shows resilience in the face of adversity
  • BS/BA degree earned
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build productive relationships across multiple boundaries (geographic, business and function)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel
  • 5+ years experience working in a global role as a subject matter expert and working in virtual teams in a complex, matrixed environment; experience with Talent and Performance systems/processes preferred
  • Proven track record working with highly confidential material with discretion
  • Skilled in the use of PowerPoint to create and edit presentations
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to drive change and manage own work to drive results
  • Strong business acumen and a global business orientation
