■ Job Summary
The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for not only installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, or lighting systems working from a technical blueprint, but also training and mentoring staff, creating work schedules, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting system issues. You may also be required to maintain and repair the electrical equipment used on-site.
■ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing any machinery, equipment or facility operated by electricity
• Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.
• Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff and ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.
• Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems or equipment.
• Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on-site.
• Reading technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Performing general electrical maintenance.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and equipment malfunctions using appropriate testing devices.
• Following National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
• Managing electrical safety in the facility and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
• Consulting with builders, architects, and other workers on-site.
• Managing investment and construction projects (electricity, fire protection, machinery, automation of production equipment, etc.)
• Managing drawings and design reviews
■ Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field
• At least 3 years of experience working in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing factories as an electrical supervisor is preferred
• Must be able to travel for a one-month OJT training in Korea.
• Bilingual in English and Korean MUST
• Valid license or relevant electrician certification to practice profession
• Preferred Qualifications: Auto CAD and related software program skills
• Communication Skills
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
• Thorough knowledge of state electrical and safety codes and procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
• Teamwork oriented
• Attention to detail

• Computer Skills including Excel, Outlook
