Job Description
One of our clients is looking to hire a Manufacturing Supervisor in Covington, GA for a contract role.


Pay Rate is $37.80


Position Summary


The Operations Supervisor supervises the daily activities of hourly and weekly workforce in the Georgia facilities in addition to providing management level oversight to all Georgia campuses during weekends.


Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for overseeing product verification, loading and shipping of product, and receipt of incoming trailers.
  • Work proficiently in all aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning systems (JDE, SAP) applicable to operations,.
  • Ensures adequacy of staff through interviewing, hiring and training of employees. Prepares work schedules, expedites workflow and assists in the daily set-up of various operational activities. Delegates duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures. Studies and standardizes procedure to improve efficiency.
  • Responsible for compiling and submitting monthly departmental reports, such as budget, WIP inventory, cost variances and a variety of reports designed to measure performance of the Operation.
  • Participate actively in all 5S, Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives.


Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience


Bachelor's degree from 4-year College or university technical degree preferred.


Minimum of 2 to 4 years working in a GMP compliant medical device processing operation with supervisory responsibility.
