About the Job

SRM is seeking experienced freelance phonics writers and editors for upcoming ELA projects. Please include a phonics writing sample as a link or content pasted directly into your resume.

Responsibilities

• Write or edit phonics assessments and/or lessons according to project guidelines.

• Deliver accurate, high-quality content according to schedule.

• Implement feedback as needed.

• Communicate effectively with in-house Content Lead and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience writing or editing phonics instruction or assessment for an educational publisher, vendor, or edtech company

• Expert knowledge of early literacy and general ELA instruction

• Understanding of assessment and instruction best practices

• Ability to effectively access and use Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and any other CMS/LMS required by SRM or the client
