Maine Behavioral Healthcare is seeking passionate and dedicated Ed Tech’s to join our growing team in the Early Intervention Toddler Program of the Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders!
The Educational Technician provides individualized instruction and behavioral support in our year-round early intervention toddler program for 1-5 year olds with Autism.
Provides services that support the achievement of communication, play, socialization, self-care, cognitive, behavior and motor goals of students in accordance with the Individual Treatment Plan, IFSP and/or Positive Behavior Support Plan utilizing the tools of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Focused on establishing core communication skills and independence in daily routines. Partnership with parents is a key ingredient in achieving the best outcome for each child. We help parents and home caregivers apply structured approaches to learning and growth.
The Glickman Lauder Center of Excellence in Autism and Developmental Disorders is a full-service integrated treatment, research, and training center to meet the needs of Maine families, generate new treatment models, and advance autism science for the benefit of all. New and expanded services include child and adult outpatient clinics, preschool, K-12 day treatment and early intervention in-home services.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Post high school study in educationally related field preferred.
- License/Certifications: Certification as an Educational Technician III from the Maine Department of Education (minimum of 90 credits in approved study). Certification as School-Based Behavioral Health Professional preferred (may be provided upon hire).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience working with children or youth with developmental disorders, mental health disorders, and/or behavior problems in school, hospital, or residential setting.
- Demonstrates knowledge of early childhood development.
