Description

ED Tech at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Multiple shifts and schedules available to be discussed during the interview.

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Completion of ED tech residency program through Providence Oregon Emergency Services. Or equivalent educ/experience.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior.
• Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
• Patient care or clinical experience preferred.
• 1 year relevant experience:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate.
