Our client is seeking a senior DBA experienced in Oracle.

The Oracle Database Administrator at EXPANSIA plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Oracle instance hosted on AWS RDS, a vital component of our Teamcenter/Active Workspace software stack. This role is at the crossroads of cloud infrastructure and database management, ensuring seamless integration, high performance, and steadfast security of our Oracle databases on the cloud platform. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of Oracle database technologies, hands-on experience with AWS RDS, and a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that cloud-based databases present. Beyond technical expertise, we value proactive problem solvers who can collaborate effectively with diverse teams, from IT to software vendors, to keep our systems running smoothly and efficiently.

The proposed salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong understanding of database structures, principles, theories, and practices.
• Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, and shell scripting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Clearance: Secret
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to travel as required to meet with client.
• Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to execute the mission and meet delivery deadlines.
• Experience with Oracle tools and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 12c, 19c, Oracle RAC, ASM, Dataguard, and RMAN.
• Years of Experience:5-7 Years' Experience (see below)
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in large-scale, high-availability environments.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
• Familiarity with automation tools or frameworks relevant to database management.
• Experience with cloud environments and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Active Secret clearance desired.
• Knowledge of additional database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
