Job Description

Document Control Specialist/Coordinator - (Healthcare Regulatory Member Documents)

Remote - Must reside and work from Portland, OR Metro

Contract of 4-5+ months with extensions possible

Salary $45-$60/hr. DOE


**No C2C, must work out W-2**


Summary:

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Document Control Specialist.
  • Establishes effective work priorities, demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, and adaptability to changing needs and competing demands.
  • Looking for a highly motivated, reliable, detailed, and driven to produce high quality work that supports customers and internal processes.
  • Previous healthcare or medical device experience is required specifically working in a highly compliant environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Review implemented changes for quality assurance to provide high quality and clear documentation for our members.
  • Coordinate assigned projects independently for timely delivery of all materials, expediting workflow to meet project deadlines.
  • Participate in the document planning and execution process.
  • Coordinates edits and updates to regulatory-required member documents and ensures edits are applied accurately across multiple documents.
  • Produce draft and final PDFs for regulatory review and final publication, ensuring each published document is free of formatting errors.
  • Coordinate the lifecycle of required documents, including defining versions, creating templates, maintaining material- specific documentation in a materials tracking database, managing translations into alternative languages, and coordinating internal reviews, edits, and approvals.
