DLT - CAD CAM Technician - 2nd Shift

• Perform regular machine maintenance.
• Set up and manage SLM machines and 3D printing machines to additively manufacture dental appliances for dentists nationwide.
• Position can be exposed and trained to design CAD files of dental appliances in preparation for manufacturing.
• Translate mechanical written and drawn instructions and SOP's.
• Oversee the machines while they execute tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Ensure that the quality of the manufacturing process aligns with department standards.
• Communicate logistic and quality issues that arise in the process of creating appliances.
• Check equipment on a daily basis to ensure correct functionality.
• Operation of small hand tools, measuring equipment, saws, grinders and various manual equipment.
• Ensure SLM and 3D printers are maintained and calibrated in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 3 years' experience as a CNC machine/CAD CAM operator.
• Understanding of shop safety and standard safety equipment.
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
• Strong CNC machining knowledge with transferable skills to SLM and 3D printing technology. Directly applicable experience with SLM and 3D Printing preferred.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, motivated with great attention to detail and quality.
• Able to stand, walk, crouch, and perform repetitive motions for long periods of time.
• A certificate or diploma in engineering preferred, but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift 20lbs.

Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs regularly.
