Your role at Clorox:
We are looking for a highly motivated Diversity Sourcing Specialist to collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Diversity Recruiting Team in implementing sourcing strategies and building a diverse and inclusive pool of candidates. As a Diversity Sourcing Specialist, you will apply your creativity to create and implement innovative recruiting techniques that source and attract top talent from diverse backgrounds, proactively source active and passive diverse talent, and increase diversity in candidate pipelines.
As a skilled professional, you will provide support to the Talent Acquisition, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship) Recruiting, and IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Allyship) teams in achieving our diversity hiring objectives by employing effective sourcing techniques, such as social media, referrals, networking, and building partnerships with community and professional organizations.
In this role, you will:
- Implement diverse sourcing strategies using social media, email, and phone calls.
- Work with recruiters and hiring teams to develop diversity strategies for immediate and future hiring.
- Build diverse talent pools and leadership pipelines by advocating at career fairs and other diversity networking events and establishing associations with critical networks and organizations.
- Utilize technology to track and engage with diverse candidates.
- Continuously explore new sourcing options and create innovative approaches to attract diverse candidates.
- Conduct candidate prescreening, interviews, and deliver diverse candidates that meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team and IDEA TA manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a diverse candidate pipeline.
- Use data to identify key performance indicators and measure the success of diversity recruitment strategies.
- Provide talent market insights using available resources.
- Research and target multiple industries and talent pools for assigned roles.
- Provide expertise and coaching to TA teams on diverse sourcing methodologies and practices.
- Collaborate with Diversity Recruiting Program Leader to implement key workforce diversity recruitment strategies.
- Proactively identify and engage with passive diverse candidates for current and future roles.
- Invest time in activating diverse passive candidates through highly engaged approaches.
- Develop effective relationships with potential candidates through networking and engagement.
What we look for:
- 5+ years of diverse sourcing experience
- Effective project management skills, including prioritization and follow-through.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated track record of applying judgment and achieving critical priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Up-to-date knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion trends and best practices.
- 3+ years of diversity experience in recruiting
- Proficient in headhunting, cold-calling, talent mapping, and other sourcing techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Human Resource certification is a plus and/or Recruitment Certification.
- Proven consulting skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
- Capable of making decisive decisions and constructively pushing back when necessary.
- Skilled in identifying and assessing diverse candidates for relevant roles within applicable markets.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $67,600 - $123,700
–Zone B: $62,000 - $113,400
–Zone C: $56,400 - $103,100

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
