The Enterprise Sourcing (ES) team has been established to support all of the corporate functions’ Sourcing & procurement requirements. In addition, the Enterprise Sourcing team is responsible for directly supporting the Sourcing & Procurement needs of the business Segments and developing and executing Category Management strategies.

The Associate Sourcing Specialist will be part of a team responsible for Strategic Sourcing activities related to certain categories, with a focus on client management, category management, and supplier management, in support of the business unit and/or Segment. This individual will be accountable for collaborating on and supporting sourcing initiatives that achieve value without compromising business strategy and performance.

The Associate Sourcing Specialist, Enterprise Sourcing – Media Engineering, will be accountable for supporting initiatives/projects part of Sourcing Annual Operating Plan with each respective Business Segment and will be accountable for delivering against them. The individual will also provide input on procurement/sourcing strategies regarding operations, processes, and infrastructure improvements. This position will ensure consistency in approach and quality and depth of analysis during the procurement/sourcing process.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and execution of performance management programs with suppliers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost.
• Prepare and execute contracts as well as perform post-award contract management.
• Communicate and report to management the status of any critical external relationships that could affect planning and decision.
• Contribute to structured negotiations following pre-defined Strategic Sourcing methodology.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of vendor and spend analytics, creation of vendor profiles, and other relevant sourcing documents.
• Participate in cross-functional sourcing projects with key internal stakeholders.
• Utilize market research tools and platforms to analyze market conditions, develop comprehensive market reports and provide valuable insights to drive effective category strategy.
• Develop and execute RFI/RFP’s process for various goods and professional services, in accordance with TWDC policy and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies and best practices.
• Evaluates total cost/supply analysis and conduct spend data cleanse to identify cost reduction opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances.
• Evaluate supplier fit based on pre-determined selection criteria and incorporate diverse supplier as applicable.
• Contributes to a Category or Segment Sourcing team and is accountable for operationalizing and implementing Sourcing Strategies

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing & Procurement and Category Management processes/methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
• High-energy, self-motivated with a desire to excel in a multi stakeholder environment.
• Experience in a Strategic Sourcing or Business Environment.
• Deliverable-focused, strong work ethic.
• Excellent communicator able to demonstrate communicating effectively with senior management.
• Strong analytical/project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Technology category
• Experience implementing projects against category plans
• Experience in a Broadcast TV and/or Cable TV Industry
• Experience with Coupa, SAP and Sourcing Project Mgmt. Systems

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant area such as supply chain management, engineering or business required. Or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education

• MBA or another quantitative discipline

The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $63,390.00 to $85,030.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
