The Discovery Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing cutting-edge digital health solutions that have the potential to transform healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare, technology assessment, and project management. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, healthcare professionals, and external partners to drive innovation and shape the future of digital health.
Responsibilities:
·Stay updated on the latest advancements in digital health technologies, medical research, and regulatory guidelines.
·Identify key challenges and opportunities within the healthcare industry and assess the potential impact of digital health solutions in addressing these challenges.
·Conduct research, analyze scientific literature, and evaluate emerging technologies such as AI, ML, big data analytics, telemedicine, and wearable devices for their applicability to healthcare settings.
·Collaborate with healthcare professionals, clinicians, and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring a user-centric approach to digital health solution selection and implementation.
·Conceptualize and develop proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility and value of integrating digital health solutions into clinical workflows or patient care pathways.
·Navigate regulatory compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and medical device guidelines (e.g., FDA).
·Establish partnerships and collaborations with healthcare providers, academic institutions, technology vendors, and startups in the digital health space to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and pilot projects.
·Conduct data analysis and leverage healthcare informatics to derive insights from large healthcare datasets, supporting evidence-based decision-making and improving patient outcomes.
·Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of implemented digital health solutions, collecting user feedback, analyzing usage data, and identifying areas for improvement.
·Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and recommendations to communicate findings, progress, and opportunities to key stakeholders and senior management.
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare management, life sciences, biomedical engineering, computer science) is required. A master's degree or higher is preferred.
·5+ years of experience in digital health, healthcare innovation, or related fields, with a strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and technology assessment.
·Knowledge of emerging technologies in digital health, such as AI, ML, big data analytics, telemedicine, wearable devices, and health apps.
·Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, including data privacy (e.g., HIPAA compliance) and medical device regulations (e.g., FDA guidelines).
·Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
·Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
·Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, healthcare professionals, and external partners.
·Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
·Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare management, life sciences, biomedical engineering, computer science).
·Additional certifications or training related to digital health, healthcare informatics, or project management.
·Experience working with digital health technologies and solutions in a healthcare setting.
·Familiarity with healthcare research methodologies, clinical trials, and evidence-based medicine.
·Knowledge of healthcare system dynamics, healthcare policy, and reimbursement models.
·Experience in developing and implementing digital health solutions.
·Previous experience in regulatory compliance related to healthcare or medical devices.
·Experience with data analytics tools and healthcare informatics platforms.
·Proven track record of successful collaboration and partnerships in the digital health industry.
·Strong leadership skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
