What You’ll Be Doing - Director, Strategy and Corporate Development
We are looking to add a Director, Strategy and Corporate Development to our growing team to help drive BigTime’s growth by identifying and assessing both platform and revenue expansion opportunities. Reporting to the CFO, you will help identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, analyze market trends, and play a critical role in owning and executing the post transaction integration strategies. In this newly added role, you will be working in close partnership with senior leadership and the board of directors to ensure the Company is maintaining pace and successful execution of M&A activities to achieve our Value Creation Plan.
What You Are Accountable For:
  • Organize and lead the acquisition due diligence process to identify integration needs and create and execute post-merger integration plans.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders throughout the diligence lifecycle including deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, deal close activities, and post close integration milestones.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the execution of the Company’s Value Creation Plan in close alignment with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors.
  • Manage the full integration process from the creation of integration plans with milestones and timelines, the execution of tactical plans, and the delivery of a clear roadmap for ongoing functional ownership throughout the post-M&A integration.
  • Support several acquisition integration projects simultaneously.
  • Work with senior leaders to identify and prioritize strategic gaps, to establish and collaborate on potential acquisition prospects.
  • Oversee and influence cross-functional diligence and integration teams to ensure all relevant tasks are completed
  • Partner with Senior Leadership to establish and execute the strategic plan for the Company.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the industry and competitive landscape by conducting market research and analyzing market trends.
  • Build strategic insights based on market assessments, with the ability to translate these insights to inform our product strategy (buy/build/partner).
Who You Are
  • Problem solving mentality with proven ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to success. This position is expected to utilize data and metrics to communicate needs with the ease of a business unit owner
  • Proven experience, and a strong record of accomplishment in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking and/or corporate strategy and corporate development
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; BA/BS required
  • Proven experience in project/program management
  • 3+ years’ proven track record of effectively interacting with executive teams and senior management
  • Experience with the execution of mergers and acquisitions with financial modeling and valuation skills
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
  • 5-10+ years of experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking or management consulting experience
  • Experience in financial modeling and analysis techniques
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with influence across multiple levels and multiple functions of an organization
  • Advanced Excel, GoogleDocs and PowerPoint skills
  • Proven ability to partner with key stakeholders, drive accountability and collaboration
