Job Title: Corporate Development Associate

Overview:
Our client, a healthcare education company, is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join our team in Chicago. The successful candidate must have 3-4 years of investment banking experience within the healthcare industry. The Corporate Development Associate will report to the Director of Corporate Development and will work closely with the executive team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities in the healthcare education industry
- Develop financial models and perform valuation analysis to support M&A transactions and strategic initiatives
- Create presentations and pitch materials to support internal decision making and external stakeholder communication
- Build relationships and maintain communication with key external stakeholders, including investment banks, industry experts, and potential partners
- Support due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships
- Take on ad-hoc projects as needed to support the company’s growth initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
- 2-4 years of investment banking experience, preferably within the healthcare industry, preferably closed M&A.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
