As a Director, Sales, you will work directly with Kigo leadership to develop and execute our go-to-market sales strategy to accelerate revenue and user growth through B2B and enterprise partnerships. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in generating, nurturing, and closing opportunities across various sectors, including loyalty, financial services, workplace engagement, and/or retail. This candidate is a results-driven relationship builder that brings experience and passion for brand loyalty and digital assets, is creative, highly adaptable, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Becoming the “expert in the room” on every facet of the business, platform, and industry, including our target customer profiles, industry trends, technology, and key players
- Generating new business opportunities and owning the sales pipeline from end-to-end, from prospecting to closing, and overseeing successful program launches
- Engaging with prospective customers with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
- Working in tandem with business leadership to drive early-stage go-to-market efforts, secure key client and channel partner relationships, and drive business revenue and user growth
- Collaborating with internal teams across marketing, technology, finance, legal and others to deliver creative solutions for new prospects and current clients
- Fostering an innovative, growth-oriented, and collaborative culture and work environment
- Developing impactful strategies, pitch decks, and communications to engage potential clients
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Passion for digital assets and blockchain technology is a plus!
- Demonstrable and impressive track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies, developing and generating new business opportunities, and growing revenue/ARR through B2B and enterprise sales
- High judgment and sense of ownership
- Ability to adapt quickly, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and inspire a growth culture
- Previous sales leadership experience in loyalty, financial services, membership, workplace engagement, or technology sectors like blockchain and digital assets.
- Results-driven leader with a player-coach mentality, ability to take initiative, self-prioritize…and a good sense of humor is always appreciated!
