The role:
SoFi is looking for someone who believes in our mission of helping people achieve their financial ambitions to lead key member engagement and loyalty programs that touch all parts of our business. The objective of this role is to help more people meet more of their financial goals with SoFi. This is a leadership role that will be responsible for setting objectives and success metrics, defining and prioritizing the initiatives to achieve them, and working across businesses and tech functions to deliver against those initiatives. A successful candidate will be comfortable with data analytics, working cross-functionally, being creative and scrappy, and leading with and without authority in a high growth and fast-paced environment.
This role is inherently cross-functional-you will work closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations, finance, risk, legal, compliance and executive teams to set business objectives, define product strategy, prioritize features and execute on them. You'll play the critical role of driving the business while bridging the technical and business worlds to drive profitable business growth while managing risk.
What you'll do:
  • Hire and coach a team of product managers
  • Collaborate closely with the full cross-functional team (e.g., marketing, product, design, engineering, compliance, risk, finance and operations) for your line of business & initiatives, to help execute on the strategic vision
  • Create and evangelize a product vision and own a multi-year product roadmap
  • Communicate the vision, strategy, execution plan, and customer impact/learnings to all stakeholders including the highest levels of leadership in the company
What you'll need:
  • Experience delivering quality software that solves business and user needs
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in people and team management
  • Ability to operate cross-functionally, leading and influencing, and ultimately leading to timely tactical decision-making to advance our objectives
  • A collaborative approach to problem-solving and ideation in a highly ambiguous environment
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal. Experience presenting to C-level leadership
  • Deep curiosity for how complex (financial) systems work, and an ability to internalize and analyze this information quickly
  • Data-driven approach and excellent analytical skills
  • Passion for your customers! You do right by them, and always
  • 10+ years in product management owning product strategy and product roadmap
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in growing large-scale consumer-facing products/services

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
