Director Of Programs Jobs

The Volunteer Center is currently seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Director of Programs. This senior-level role entails comprehensive oversight of the strategy, development, implementation, and evaluation of several key programs to achieve the desired outcomes outlined in the Ends Policy, primarily focusing on fostering measurable increases in resilience and empathy.

The portfolio of core programs, which includes long-standing initiatives such as Operation Teddy Bear and Food For Kids, as well as Impact Makers - Building Skills for Life programs, requires the expertise of an astute Director of Programs. In this role, the Director of Programs will continuously assess and enhance Impact Makers, our distinctive youth involvement program that seamlessly integrates Social and Emotional Wellness principles with Service Learning. As the leader of this initiative, the Director of Programs will spearhead participant recruitment and selection processes, expertly facilitate each session with youth participants, and evaluate the program's effectiveness to identify areas for improvement.

Required skills: Master's Degree and license and/or relevant field experience/hours as a school counselor, social worker, or mental health professional, specializing in youth.
