Summary
Oversee all aspects of technology and information systems. Own the agency’s vision and strategy to efficiently implement and utilize hardware and software. Works with department heads and administration to research and implement new systems to improve productivity and accuracy in the delivery of services. Supervises as defined in Responsibilities and ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained to complete IT Department responsibilities.
Responsibilities

• Develop industry partnerships and assess, coordinate and maintain vendor contracts
• Hires and maintains appropriate staffing levels within the department.
• Identifying opportunities for continual improvement and resolving higher-scope issues
• Develop and implement a global vision and strategy for technology and information systems
• Oversee the IT Department
• Gather feedback and present insights related to company technology needs and new opportunities that may improve performance.
• Ensure adherence to Federal and State mandates regarding the security of all protected health information.
• Perform other duties as required
• Manage deadlines, budgets, and activities for department and subordinates
• Research new technology and systems
• Research and implement new workflow and project management software and systems
• Ensuring relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld
• Develop a strategy to maintain updated hardware
• Supervise, direct, coach, and oversee Information Technology Staff. This includes assisting in the recruitment and hiring process for the Information Technology team, providing coaching and mentoring to staff, and completing performance reviews and performance discussions accordingly.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication
• 5+ years of program/project management or similar role
• Ability to delegate efficiently
• Excellent team management skills
• Healthcare / HIPAA experience a plus
• Problem-Solving aptitude
• Experience with HIPAA EDI transactions and transmission methods
• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
• Bachelor's Degree
