DIRECTV is seeking a Director of Sourcing to lead the Sourcing Center of Excellence team. This strategic leader will be responsible for the development, promotion, and adoption of Sourcing best practices across DIRECTV. The role will enable Sourcing success by accelerating change via policy and system enhancements and Sourcing performance management. This role will also develop and implement a supplier performance and relationship manager program. In this supervisory role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of a Sr. Sourcing Manager and Sr Sourcing Analyst.

As a member of the Strategic Sourcing Team, you will collaborate with your partners in the business unit to consistently strive to identify opportunities to drive value back into DIRECTV.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Creation and pursuit of an external leverage strategy via GPOs, distributions, resellers, etc
• Knowledge management: templates, policies, tools, best practices, playbooks
• Catalog and guided buying owner
• Pursuit of sourcing automation using AI
• Sourcing Performance management and analytics (spend, savings, tail spend, value tracking)
• Supply market intelligence
• Focused on accelerating change via policy change, system change
• Negotiation strategies by category
• Develops, promotes, and drives adoption of sourcing best practices
• Selects and Manages BPO and Advisory partners
• Procurement System Liaison
• Sourcing “brand” manager; marketing and comms

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Graduate degree (MBA, Paralegal cert.) or C.P.S.M. preferred
• Ability to work with executive and senior leadership confidently displaying excellent influence, presence, and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred
• Understanding of complex contractual terms and conditions
• Structured, process-orientated approach
• Supervisory experience required
• Strong, adaptable written and verbal communication skills
• Business, cost management, and quality experience

This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $127,965 - $232,415

Low (N1): $127,965 - $191,995

Mid (N2): $134,700 - $202,100

High (N3): $148,170 - $222,310

Top (N4): $154,905 - $232,415
