Job Description

We have partnered with a leading manufacturer and distributor to identify a Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead purchasing and sourcing efforts for the entire division. The role will be highly visible, reporting directly to the Vice President and will be tasked with collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders to develop key sourcing strategies and implement a best-in-class purchasing strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build KPI dashboards to enhance the speed of decision making, tracking savings and supplier performance.
  • Manage suppliers to achieve year over year improvement in Quality, Delivery, Service, and Cost.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, coordinate sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships and support Operational stakeholders.


Key Requirements:

  • Strong Collaborator who has the ability to think analytically & strategically
  • 8+ years experience in leading sourcing efforts for both direct and indirect materials in an Industrial Manufacturing setting
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business --- MBA is preferred
