Job Description

Attention dynamic Sales Leaders in the Greater Boston area!

Kelly has an exciting new Direct Hire position for an experienced Head of Sales to join a global Recycling Technology company with North American operations based out of Ipswich, MA. Starting base salary is $145,000 - $155,000 with a robust bonus structure, a full benefits package, and an 8 – 5 Mon – Friday schedule. This is an in-office role. This is an opportunity to be the driving the overall company Sales and Marketing strategy in North America with a focus on business development, marketing communications, and most importantly, team development.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Meet with Market Sales Managers to ensure common global understanding of market dynamics and company product development
  • Develop high-level expertise of the competitive landscape
  • Proactively manage sales efforts by identifying trends, searching for new opportunities, and growing existing customer sales
  • Develop a solid foundation related to Sales Team development with a focus on expanding the market
  • Infrequent travel when needed to support your sales team, technical meetings, trade shows, and customer training, providing presentations as needed
  • Create a Sales Management plan to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers as a trusted advisor
  • Partner with Sales Team & Agents to generate and manage sales forecasts

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5 - 10+ years of developed sales leadership experience with a preference for managing Territory Sales Reps or similar roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field of study is a big plus. Technical acumen for new products is required
  • Ability to travel to trade shows and key customers around the USA infrequently. Experience in breaking open a new customer base is highly preferred – there is an untapped market out there just waiting for the right leader to drive discovery and closure
