Job Description

Our client, a leading vertically-integrated cultivation operation, has a need for a Director of Sales to lead the sales organization within Colorado. This position will be responsible for team structure, analytics, key account management and assisting with marketing strategy.


Qualified canididates will have previous experience in the cannabis industry and an established book of business.


Responsibilities:

  • Establish new relationships and continuously open doors
  • Forecasting for sales and reporting to leadership team
  • Establish structure for sales team, setting targets and managing for achievement of targets
  • Formulate sales/marketing strategy and planning


Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience leading sales efforts, at least 2+ years within cannabis
  • Strategic focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail-oriented perspective
  • Established book of business with dispensaries within Colorado
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Expertise in building relationships through long-term, high-touch sales cycles
