We are looking for a compassionate and team-oriented Director of Residential and Crisis Services to join our agency leadership team overseeing the operations and service delivery of agency residential and crisis line services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The ideal candidate would have strong leadership skills and experience managing operations and service delivery in a residential crisis facility.
Reports to: Executive Program Director
Supervises: Crisis Line Coordinators, Crisis Line Advocates, Crisis Intervention Specialists, Shelter Aides, Interns, Volunteers
Primary Functions:
- Manage the two agency shelter facilities to meet the physical, safety-related and emotional needs of the clients.
- Conduct weekly meetings with staff to include training, building communication and morale, and coordinating services for clients.
- Evaluate shelter services and make recommendations for budget needs and programming in support of agency goals.
- Collect and report statistical data reflecting services provided and outcomes.
- Supervision of shelter staff to include all employment actions and scheduling for shelter and crisis line services
- Service coordination with agency transitional housing staff, programs, and services as well as external community partners
- Ensure clients have access to counseling, support group, and advocacy services.

Requirements:Prerequisites:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relationship violence and sexual assault issues
- Experience with a non-profit agency of comparable complexity
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a social service agency
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; licensure preferred
Preferences:
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Master’s degree in social service or related field
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
