Job Description

Five Eighty believes in Commercial Harmony™ – a unified brand experience that delivers commercial growth. As reaching consumers through today’s media channels is an ever-changing landscape, we are looking to hire a new Director of Media. This role is expected to be both a strategic planner and media buyer to execute omni-channel media plans that deliver against client KPIs and drive business growth. You’ll work closely with the commerce strategy and creative departments to create seamless end-to-end consumer/shopper experiences for our clients.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor campaign results to determine what changes need to be made to improve and optimize overall performance
  • Report campaign performance to clients, including details against agreed-upon KPIs
  • Develop and effectively communicate media plan strategies across various channels including retail media networks, digital, social, OOH, OTT, etc.
  • Lead vendor negotiations to secure the best rates possible and oversee financial budgets for all media campaigns
  • Serve as the owner and single point of contact to the client’s central digital or commerce team for all Commerce Media
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of our client's business, brands, media channels, competitive landscape and market dynamics
  • Lead & grow the clients who believe in our vision for commerce media

  • Develop omni-channel media strategies that are built to deliver business growth & exceed media KPIs
  • Lead negotiations, analysis, reporting, and data/performance optimization needed for each program


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years agency experience
  • Experience leading, managing and building a team
  • Advertising/Media budget management experience at a large scale at a senior level
  • 5+ years of digital media planning experience
  • Expertise in cross-channel media tools (IE. DoubleClick, Comscore, SRDS, etc.)
  • Strong presentation and people skills; Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge across retail media networks & third-party commerce media partners

SALARY RANGE

  • $150,000 – $185,000
