About The Role


An exciting and challenging position exists as a full-time Director of Brand Marketing for our Tea portfolio companies, Jade Leaf Matcha & FGO. You will be responsible for setting the overall strategy for the brand including the development and execution of marketing plans and initiatives that will drive significant growth for Wellmore Holdings. This position is part of a dynamic and nimble team that owns consumer insight development and validation, brand strategy, and execution across product, communications, and innovation. This role will require deep consumer empathy and insights, analytical evaluation of opportunities, hands-on management of a team as well as multiple projects in various stages of development. In addition, this role requires partnering with multiple stakeholders and therefore requires strong communication skills. You will also be responsible for the coaching and development of direct reports.


Day to day, you will be responsible for building and executing the annual brand plans, conducting market and business analysis, budgeting, identifying and leading insights for new product launches, and identifying channel, format, and product opportunities. This position provides leadership to and works closely with all other departments in the company including other Marketing Functions, Sales, Operations, and Finance.

FGO - From Great Origins: FGO (From Great Origins) is a brand committed to creating organic products for its customers to help them live healthy and feel good. What You Will Do


  • Work closely with the Amazon and DTC teams to ensure that the brand messaging is delivered consistently across all channels
  • Operate as the General Manager of the Tea portfolio, defining and executing the end-to-end brand growth plans required to generate value for consumers, customers and the company
  • Inspire and collaborate with cross-functional partners to champion brand strategies, synchronize execution and foster a culture of speed, agility and risk taking
  • Conduct market and product research to anticipate competitive and industry trends translating consumer attitudes into new product opportunities.
  • Coach and develop direct reports by driving high performance and a strong team culture.
  • Manage all Marketing spend to optimize activities that drive the strongest growth and deliver the healthiest ROAS/ROI for the organization
  • Analyze brand and category performance to identify new marketing, packaging, and product opportunities
  • Liaise with internal partners and external agencies to identify brand insights, develop impactful packaging, build effective communication programs and other consumer activations, and bring them to market
  • Partner with Customer Strategy and Field Sales teams to infuse Voice of Customer into brand strategies and drive high-impact execution of trade activation and shopper marketing plans

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, ideally Marketing; MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading the development of annual plans; outlining the strategy to grow your business or product and partnering with key stakeholders to develop the tactics
  • Coaching mindset with previous experience managing direct reports
  • Experience working across Sales & Marketing roles highly preferred
  • 8+ years’ experience in CPG Marketing roles; preferably at the Director level

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is 170,000-190,000 USD/year. This position is also eligible for short- and long-term incentives. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
