PURPOSE
The Director of Marketing is responsible for establishing and executing Digicomm’s marketing strategies and programs, including marketing campaigns, social media activities, trade show and conference management, brand awareness initiatives, and product messaging.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimize our website presence for product awareness and lead generation.
- Own the Digicomm social media efforts, including executive social presence, social listening, proactive engagement, and management of brand content across our social networks.
- Effectively manage Digicomm’s presence at tradeshows, conferences and other industry events.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to generate and nurture leads and track their progress through the sales funnel.
- Successfully plan and execute digital marketing programs that generate meaningful results.
- Collaborate closely with vendors and partner marketing teams to drive associated product messaging.
- Partner and work closely with sales teams on customer presentations and communication.
- Participate in GTM projects and orchestrate product launches across all brand awareness platforms.
- Drive brand awareness through pre- and post-show communications including email and social promotion, at-show management, and overall show execution.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop platforms and communication programs to increase brand equity through various marketing initiatives that support our sales and growth goals.
- Lead product messaging and collateral development for internal and external communications, training and sales enablement.
- Identify and optimize digital platforms and social media to find the most effective way to reach target audiences.
- Develop and present strategies, plans, content, campaigns, and measurement reports.
- Build and maintain brand standards for all external and internal communication and collateral.
Job requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Design.
- “Can Do” attitude, agile, mission-focused marketing leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and MS Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Strong leadership ability, attention to detail, proactive attitude, and creative skillset.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, HubSpot, Mailchimp, and/or other marketing automation tools.
- 5 - 8+ years’ experience in Marketing or related field, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Positive and proactive attitude who is open to new ideas and opportunities.
- Ability to develop strong content marketing and lead generation.
- Ability to self-manage and take initiative in remote environments.
