Director Of Health, Physical Education And Athletics

The Watertown City School District has an opening and is accepting applications for a Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing, maintaining, and growing the Watertown City School District athletic program; collaborating with district administration on health and physical curriculum and programming; and supervision of coaching, physical education, and health staff.
Applicants for this position should demonstrate outstanding communication skills, a clear knowledge of physical education and health standards and programming, and possess a vision for the athletic program that is inclusive, expansive, and growth-oriented for all student athletes.
Candidates must have a New York State teacher certification in Physical Education as well as New York State administrative certification as a School District Leader.
