Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated leader to lead the Food & Beverage team at Lost Creek Country Club. The Director of Food and Beverage is a strategic business leader who is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Club. They will maintain a high standard of excellence while promoting a People First Culture.

Day-to-Day:

• Works with the Member committees to develop and implement Member activities and events.
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, while complying with legal regulations.
• Recruit, select, and develop talent while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Trains and monitors employees while evaluating their performance and productivity.
• Manages the food & beverage department while forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action plans.
• Develops aggressive food beverage sales, marketing, and net revenue plans.

About You:

• Exceptional leadership skills - self-motivated, strategic thinker, positive attitude
• Adaptable to change – can solve problems through an open-minded and all-inclusive approach
• Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
• Level 1 Sommelier Certification (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Business Admin (preferred)
• Proficient with Micros POS, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• 10 years in Club Management or related field in the hospitality industry

Newly renovated, the Creekside restaurant offers a variety of menu items ranging from excellent hamburgers to delicious steaks and salads. Our new Executive Chef has completely revamped the menu with seasonal flavors and classic favorites. Another not-to-be-missed dining experience, Dora's Casita, features the best tacos in Austin made by the amazing Dora herself! Built around 2008, our Austin icehouse was referred to as “The Pavilion” until 2019 when it officially became a gathering place for Members. The recent necessity of outdoor dining and social distancing transformed the space into the popular hangout it is today. Members make themselves at home in The Roost with 5 TVs where they can catch all the best sporting events and surrounding views of the golf course and beautiful Hill Country.
