Director Of Content Studio

Do you want to work for a Championship organization? We have the job for you! The Miami HEAT Content team is seeking a Director of Content Studio! The Director is responsible for leading and producing content for all Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center platforms, including in-arena, digital, and broadcast. The Director will manage video editors, producers, and videographers and ensure that all content crafted meets brand standards. We require this role to work with the Senior Director to ensure creative and brand alignment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

• Keep up to date with the ever-shifting media and creative landscape to capitalize on brand initiatives and drive revenue while maintaining quality and consistency across media types and web platforms.
• Responsible for the use and basic maintenance of industry-leading video and audio equipment.
• Develop and implement content ideas in collaboration with the creative team and ensure all content follows the defined content strategy.
• Lead a team of content creators, including videographers, producers, and editors, and coordinate, label, and lead assets key to producing creative and video-related content.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to build and distribute high-quality content across all digital and social media platforms, including HEAT and Kaseya Center platforms.
• Monitor content performance, work closely with other departments, and adjust strategies as vital to ensure maximum engagement and impact.
• Produce and build engaging video and audio content that aligns with the digital content strategy and support revenue teams by crafting and driving branded content opportunities.

• Proven experience with digital editing software (Avid Media Composer, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder).
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Experience leading and developing a team of content creators
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
• Familiarity with the sports industry, basketball, and the Miami HEAT brand
• Prior experience using LUTs and manually color-grading digital media.
• Should be able to share a reel, portfolio, and/or collection of prior work relevant to this position demonstrating your skill as an editor.
• Experience operating and maintaining professional digital video and audio equipment.

Education and/or Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in content creation and management
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field
