Job Summary
The Director of Call Center Operations will be responsible for the incoming calls for the Patient Transport Department and may also be responsible for call from other departments within the hospital. The Call Center Manager will oversee Patient Transportation services within the hospital which includes the successful management of supervisors, data, client relations, patient and customer satisfaction, program quality standards, performance improvement, and personnel performance and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Establish work standards and work flow.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics.
- Proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate good communication skills with clients.
- Maintain records and statistics for administrative and training purposes.
- Show strength with the internal software packages (TeamChimes and TeamTransport) and any additional software.
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities of the department.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for departmental operations.
- Coordinate transportation activities and services with other hospital departments.
Qualifications:
- Previous hospital call center experience is preferred.
- Public speaking skills a must.
- Four year college degree or equal related experience required.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data.
- Excellent social skills. Service/quality attitude.
- Supervision of staff employees required.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and achieve effective time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.
