Join us and make a difference!Now hiring for a Full-time Director of Admissions!Essential Job Functions Include:Respond to all inquiries regarding services available at Fairport Baptist Homes including phone calls, emails, walk-ins and tours.Communicate with referral sources, prospective applicants and their families.Review referral information from numerous sources and maintain positive relationships.Coordinate the admission, discharge and room change process in conjunction with interdepartmental staff.Assist in orienting Residents and their families to the facility.Maintain census information for the facility.Assist with the development of public relations material as it relates to admissions.Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practicesWork as a cooperative and contributing member of a 24/7 interdepartmental care team to assure that the needs of our Residents are met. Requirements:Must possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.Minimum two year experience in a long term care geriatric setting.Qualifications:Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner.Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.)Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.Must have a desire to work with the elderly.Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 per NYS regulations.
