Position Purpose
- Leading and supervising Divisional Learning and Specialty College Managers, Project Managers, and other trainers
- Working with Stakeholders on rollout of training materials or curricula
- Working with Atlanta SSC on Divisional needs, curriculum development and strategic planning
- Partnering with various functional and field business partners to execute their training needs
- Analyzing various reports and identifying needs or opportunities
- Responsible for appropriate selection, termination, performance appraisal, and professional development of assigned staff.
- Strategic planning by using various reports
- Tracking results to evaluate the financial impact and business results of training
- Direct and indirectreports typically include up to 15 managers/supervisors, 3 professionals, and 50 support associates
- Typically reports to Human Resource Vice President.
- Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Nine to twelve years learning and/or instructional design experience is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred.
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
