Job Description
We are looking for a a passionate and energetic Center Director to lead and manage our location. As a Center Director, you inspire your team to deliver measurable results for KidStrong’s various business drivers. You lead a member-obsessed team that is driven to anticipate member needs and deliver results to build brand loyalty. You are responsible for identifying, developing, and growing talent in your Center and for creating an engaging Center culture. You’re responsible for upholding our high standards in communication and service. By driving your coaches to create member experiences that enhance brand loyalty, you deliver measurable results and help enrich members’ lives.
Responsibilities: Business Strategy
  • Ensure financial goals are met by recognizing shortfalls and growth opportunities based on key performance indicators and creating or implementing solutions
  • Partner with L5 Be Brave Leadership to develop local member acquisition tactics and retention plans.
  • Ensure Center is maintained and meeting facilities standards through inventory/facility walkthroughs and formal reviews
  • Drive member retention, through member experience at your Center
People
  • Cultivate, lead, and grow a strong team of committed and passionate coaches that will deliver consistent positive performance through efficient management and execution of class programming, Center procedures and member experience
  • Provide objective and consistent feedback through 90 day evaluations, 1:1s and team meetings; relate to others, build rapport, and work collaboratively with members and coaches
  • Lead the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, development, and scheduling of your Coach Roster
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving member concerns and serving as an example for your Coach Roster
  • Develop or support a strategy for team members to close identified performance gaps
  • Build a team of enthusiastic coaches and foster the Center’s Culture through our KidStrong DNA profiles (coach DNA - passionate, command presence, teacher, professional, performer, mentor…center culture DNA - coachable, community builder, professional, great teammate, natural leader, passion)
Qualifications
  • Passion for working with and motivating children, families and team members
  • Must have superior customer service and hospitality skills
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines
  • Must be able to work flexible/non-traditional hours including weekends and some holidays
  • Previous management experience preferred - including directly overseeing all aspects of team management from hiring, training, supporting, development and performance management
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and senior management
