Position

Based in San Francisco, the candidate will work closely with the Investment Team and Platforms at Urbanite Capital and Golden Gate Global (3G) on the investment process for real estate related opportunities. This individual will be involved in all stages of lending, investment, and EB-5 project development for primarily real estate development projects from tracking and pursuing new opportunities through due diligence, analysis, deal structuring, execution, and asset management. As part of a fast-growing entrepreneurial company, the candidate must be flexible, proactive, and willing to support a variety of tasks, challenges, and opportunities, as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and analyze due diligence material including entitlement and development documents, major agreements, and other project related information.
• Review quarterly project reports with underwritten schedules and budgets.
• Prepare project summaries, investment highlights, and analysis for marketing and other uses by Urbanite Capital and 3G.
• Track project and investment performance, progress, and reporting requirements
• Assist with the preparation of offering documents and marketing materials for prospective investors.
• Conduct market research on real estate development projects and capital markets
• Perform site inspections and market research.
• Conduct credit and investment analysis utilizing pro forma models, comps, appraisals, market studies, etc. to assess the suitability of projects for investment.
• Assist with various aspects of EB-5 funds including reviewing and contributing to project business plans, economic analyses, loan/securities documents, and supporting evidence/documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of project development materials, proposals, letters, term sheets, etc.
• Research, source, track and monitor prospective real estate development projects and investment opportunities.
• Collect and monitor project and investment financial statements and compliance with provisions and covenants in loan/investment agreements.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining efficiency
• Real estate investment and/or development experience across multiple product types is strongly preferred
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Excellent PowerPoint and Word skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• 2-4+ years of experience in real estate finance, investment banking, and/or underwriting/valuation
• Exceptional Excel skills
