Job Description

Elevated Search Partners has teamed up with a Real Estate Investment firm that specializes in acquiring, developing, and repositioning multifamily assets, in assisting with their urgent need for an Investments Analyst in the San Fernando Valley area. This position will support the Investments team in evaluating, structuring, managing, and closing potential acquisitions and disposition of commercial property opportunities across our various focus markets. As an integral member of the Investments department, the candidate will be involved in all aspects of the transaction process including financial analysis, market research, due diligence, asset financings, business plan development, and closings.


What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and present acquisition briefs with supporting materials to Investment Committee
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested for various projects in both Acquisitions and Asset Management departments
  • Research and monitor numerous submarkets, both from the desk and in the field, to gain intimate knowledge of submarkets and their opportunities
  • Coordinate due diligence process, including legal, financial, and physical assessment reviews
  • Assist Asset Managers with annual business plans and quarterly reports
  • Assist Asset Managers with dispositions including compilation and distribution of due diligence information
  • May perform other duties as needed
  • Maintain and update regional portfolio reports
  • Communicate with brokers and property owners/managers to identify potential acquisition opportunities
  • Provide support for acquisition financing by providing lenders with the requisite due diligence material
  • Some travel may be required
  • Underwrite and analyze valuations for potential acquisitions utilizing MS Excel using our internal models to incorporate market data and cash flow projections



What You’ll Need:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to influence ranging opinions into one solid and cohesive directive in an efficient and positive manner
  • Self-motivated, personable, and team player with the ability to work in a lean, action-oriented "start-up" environment
  • BA/BS degree- STEM, Accounting, or Economics emphasis preferred, but not required
  • Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple concurrent projects, and be able to independently and proactively identify and solve key business problems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate ability to stay calm and even-keeled in working with a wide range of personality types
  • Must possess a high standard of professionalism and integrity
