Job Description
Overview
Seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager who can build on strong foundation on existing wholesale partnerships to lead strategic growth of our Prestige Wholesale and Business Development Programs.
The Director of Sales/Business Development is responsible for managing a book of business and maintaining strong customer relationships while generating and sustaining new business opportunities through wholesale revenue streams.
As a leader of our wholesale programs, you must be familiar with the wholesale businesses and how to work with and influence cross-functional partners to meet our business and financial goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Address customer needs/product requests while developing strategies to drive new revenue opportunities that align with business objectives
  • Liaison with Credit department to ensure timely collection of receivables
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Implement and ensure compliance of all price and promotional strategies for each sales channel
  • Use expertise, deep knowledge, and strategic planning create winning sales pitches and presentations
  • Manage the Wholesale accounts and P&L while delivering budgeted sales and gross margin, monthly, quarterly, annually
  • Analyze and maintain a 24-month item forecast by customer
  • Collaborate with PDM team in allocation of inventory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure short-term and long-term business and brands goals while establishing confidence in partnerships, workflows, ways of working, inventory management, and invoicing
  • Communicate / plan item forecast with key customers, quarterly, annually
  • Anticipate and analyze selling trends, implement strategic action plans to support the business
  • Lead the development and maintenance of key internal sales documents and tracking sheets: offer sheets, order forms, sales reporting, client PL's, budgets, forecast planning, etc.
  • Lead the execution of client deliverables and programs: sales decks, product assortments, pricing, etc. With support of cross-functional partners, you will create a strategic roadmap for long-term, profitable growth rooted in insights and anchored in Revlon’s KPIs.
  • Review Excess inventory, working within corporate guidelines to achieve sales weekly
Skills & Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to grow market share
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite with experience in leveraging excel to analyze data and story tell
  • Effectively interface with all levels of colleagues and customers
  • Independent worker but team player
  • Proven ability to develop and leverage strong business relationships and business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Financially fluent, P&L proficient
  • Solid analytical skills with an independent fact-based decision-making approach
Education & Experience
  • Strong network with wholesale, Off-Price retailers is preferred
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in customer-facing Sales or Account Management roles. Preferably in the retail, wholesale, or off-price markets. Experience in Consumer Products a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of Off-Price retailers' strategies and execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
