Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY:


We are seeking a talented Director, Consulting Services to advance our clients’ position in the marketplace through industry-leading consulting solutions. This role will identify challenges or market opportunities critical to client success and introduce solutions that impact organizational strategy, product adoption, operations, and/or member engagement to increase client profitability and organizational health.This professional role requires financial services expertise, solid analytical skills, deep understanding of payments and payments processing, marketing knowledge with the unique ability to transform problem-statements into solutions through consulting initiatives. You will manage key client accounts and work closely with Sr. leadership to lead and develop consulting team and execution team members.


WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:


  • Understand technical elements of processing to ensure system configuration and program infrastructure support clients’ needs.
  • Facilitate and lead presentations to diverse audiences regarding importance of financial products, card processing, member engagement, etc. to overall financial health of organization(s)
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences through consulting initiatives identified, created, and implemented based on a deep understanding of Credit Unions’ short- and long-term objectives.
  • Facilitates client calls to discuss plans, timelines, and execution.
  • Provide insights regarding impact of implemented consulting solution(s) to clients’ overall business performance with initiatives to adopt for continued success.
  • Demonstrate leadership and support across internal and external partners as part of consulting initiatives to foster client engagement and expand services.
  • Provide leadership to the consulting and strategy team as directed.
  • Manage key client accounts to provide innovative solutions for clients’ business strategy, product and service adoption, operations and member-facing engagement to increase clients’ overall financial health
  • Partner with data and finance partners to develop and enhance advanced analytics offering for consumption
  • Ability to review and analyze robust datasets through individual data manipulation and analysis or leveraging analytical models to determine opportunities or analyze performance
  • Leadership role on collaborative team of industry professionals that create unique consulting solutions to advance client capabilities, drive growth and increase profitability.
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to implement robust growth strategies to elevate clients’ position in marketplace or resolve complex program issues that have limited growth potential via consulting services


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information.
  • Experience working with marketing partners to create and implement consumer-marketing initiatives for member engagement.
  • Excellent business acumen, marketing knowledge, and analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of payments and the critical infrastructure and partnerships required for processing.
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as ability to adhere to both company policies and best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of current and historical payments industry issues, trends and opportunities in financial services, digital and business intelligence space in relation to Financial Institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics methodologies and tools to leverage for client growth.
  • Extensive knowledge of Core systems, technology, and services, specifically payments.
  • Excellent internal and external relationship management skills – not limited to assigned clients – but also cross-functional departments, leadership and external partners
  • Ability to travel.
  • Consultative, client-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated research, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team.


REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Excel, Tableau.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in payments, financial institution card processing or platform management.
  • 10 years payment processing in either debit, credit or both, experience in FIS payment processing ideal

For California, Colorado and New York Applicants: In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:


$115,000.00 - $145,000.00


Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
