Job Description
Overview


As a Director of Business Development you will serve as the territory liaison to the sales organization, driving growth of applicable ePlus services within your assigned region. You will manage pipeline development, education and awareness, training and sales in both a sell-to and sell-through model.


Responsibilities


Job Responsibilities:


  • Provide accurate forecasting of services for assigned regions
  • Collaborate with existing ePlus field sales and services leadership; analyze and prioritize selling activity within existing accounts that will drive sales growth of applicable services
  • Develop joint marketing plans to recommend tactics and assist the field with regularly scheduled demand generation activities within assigned territory
  • Work with field sales organization to assist with relevant training and skills development
  • Collaborate with peers across other markets to share best practices and develop a consistent approach for position that will yield optimal results for the organization
  • Lead efforts for services demand generation campaigns, working with field sales organization
  • Manage and promote services growth in a large territory, managing and motivating the sales force to increase their focus on selling applicable services
  • Primary territory liaison responsible for driving objectively measured incremental growth of ePlus Services.
  • Manage ongoing training and development of supported sales and services staff relative to assigned territory and organizational goals
  • Meet or exceed financial targets for all applicable services sales

  • Willingness to travel within an assigned territory


Education and Experience:


  • Sales leadership experience preferred
  • BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science or Engineering fields preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience selling relevant services solutions with significant business development responsibilities
  • Proven success selling to solutions at the CXO and VP levels


Position Specifics:


The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $140,000 to $180,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.


Physical Requirements of Position:


Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
